Champions of God

PROLOGUE

Jesus has called you, Jesus has brought you here for one purpose and that purpose is TO BECOME A SAINT. This is your goal, this is your destination, and this is your purpose in living here.

More than anything else, I, in the name of Jesus, wish to teach each one of you how to be mountain climbers, how to climb the mountain of the Lord, how to reach the peak of perfection. I wish to teach you TO BECOME A SAINT.

What must we do TO BACOME A SAINT? You know the answer. First and foremost you must have this burning desire, this driving ambition TO BECOME A SAINT. And how would you describe a SAINT, how would you define the meaning of the word “SAINT”?

A SAINT is the one who resembles Jesus Christ in all things. A SAINT is one who thinks as Christ, decides as Christ, judges as Christ, speaks as Christ, acts and does as Christ. By following Jesus each day, by imitating Him, by resembling Him, we BECOME SAINTS.

A SAINT is GOD’S CHAMPION. He is God’s gold-medal winner. He is God’s hero. He is superman. He can fly high to God. He is superman and this is what we must aspire to be. It is not just to be normal creatures but superman, SUPERMAN of GOD. This is what it means TO BE A SAINT and we must desire each day.

By looking at the lives of these Champions of God, we really grasp in very beautiful, concrete and realistic manner who is Jesus, what He like, how does he think, how does He act, how does He speak. So their lives are so useful to us in revealing Jesus, in BECOMING SAINTS.
